Donna and Karen, the enthusiastic, passionate centre managers of our vibrant before and after school care! Bindoon OSHC developed with over 2 decades of experience in early childhood education, and health care combined.
Meet Donna - Managing Partner and Registered Nurse
Donna is an experienced registered nurse with over 20 years in nursing care.
She brings a solid foundation of clinical expertise complemented by a degree in leadership and management. Her background includes extensive experience in educational roles, where she's helped shaped future healthcare professionals through effective training and mentorship.
Donna's words - "As a dedicated business partner, I am committed to establishing a quality Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) program that prioritizes the well-being and development of children. My blend of healthcare knowledge, leadership skills, and passion for education enables me to create a supportive and nurturing environment for families and staff alike."
Meet Karen - Managing Partner, Nominated Supervisor and Educational Leader
Karen has worked in the OSHC and Childcare industry for over 25 years and brings a wealth of knowledge in Management and Educational Leadership, ensuring the needs of all children under her care are cared for at the highest standard. Karen provides extensive knowledge in all areas of the National Quality Standard and has successfully had the overall rating of 'Meeting' twice while running a service. She has an infectious enthusiasm for nurturing young minds, believing that each child is unique and deserves to flourish in a supportive environment. Her innovative approach combines play-based learning with holistic development, ensuring children are not only prepared academically but also socially and emotionally.
Karen's words - "I have been working in the childcare industry since 1999. I have managed a large OSHC service for almost a decade with low staff turnover and successful positive, respectful relationships between children, parents, teachers and staff combined. I am committed to providing the same high quality of care at Bindoon. My Goal is for every child under my care to feel safe, secure and supported with parents knowing that their child is in safe, compassionate, caring hands while they are at work."
